As we come closer to the 75th anniversary of comic books most iconic character; The Joker, the director of Suicide Squad, David Ayer has a present to the comic book community and has revealed the first official image of Jared Leto as DC’s one and only the Harlequin of Hate . Covered in tattoos, metal teeth, ONE purple glove, and a very different kind of smile, this is the Ace of Knaves as you’ve never seen him before!

As fans are still trying to drink in this first image – older comic book fans are calling this a “boner” move on the DC dynasty comic book publishing company, and some of them are wondering why the relaunch of DC Comics (also know as the NEW 52 ) was even launched in the first place if continuity cannot hold throughout DC’s multi-medium Entertainment works.

Personally I am going to be asking Mister Ayer if he still has the sales receipt for this gift and also inquiring about it’s exchange policy on such wonderfulness and here are two really cool videos on this…

SO…What do you guys think of Suicide Squad’s take on The Joker, are some of you still holding on to your judgement until the full movie production is released?
