Extreme Rules Predictions & CM Punk Thoughts

ExtremeRulesWhat day this is! Extreme Rules, Game of Thrones, the Simpsons Lego Episode. All on May the 4th. Is there a way better way to spend a Sunday? I don’t think there is. I am here to give my predictions on who will win each match for WWE’s sixth Extreme Rules event, the first to be broadcast on their new network. If you don’t live in the United States and don’t want to be “creative”, then buying the pay per view is your best route. You could stream it someplace online for free but I don’t endorse that. So don’t blame me if you get in trouble.

Any who, I’m first going to sidetrack to a different topic. This is about a man. You might’ve heard of him? He goes under the name CM Punk. There is a lot of speculation on when he’ll return. I predict he’ll return by Wrestle Mania XXXI, challenge Brock Lesnar to a match to determine who the best Paul Heyman guy is. He picks up the win, says adios once again, and makes his debut in the UFC. He returns to WWE after a successful (or not) career in UFC. Has one final run before retiring for good.

Okay. Back to Extreme Rules. The first match is a weeLC match between El Torito and Hornswoggle. Yeah. This is going to be my bathroom break so I don’t a giving a flying bleep who wins but since this is a predictions post, give me El Torito.

Next up (and on the official card) is Big E vs. Bad News Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship. If you think Big E will retain, then I’ve some bad news for you.

Bray Wyatt picks up the win against John Cena in a steel cage. Their rivalry will continue to Payback. I’ve been enjoying their feud and look forward to what this match brings.

The Divas Championship can go either way in my opinion. I have mixed feelings on who will win. A part of me wants Tamina Snuka but the other wants Paige to retain. Give me Paige for the win.

Evolution (Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista) goes head to head with The Shield in what will end with Ric Flair interfering and costing The Shield the victory. Batista then turns his back on Evolution before having a match with Triple H or Randy Orton at Payback.

Alexander Rusev in a handicap match against Xavier Woods and R Truth? No thanks. Give me Rusev.

Triple Threat match. Rob Van Dam vs. Jack Swagger vs. Cesaro. I say Cesaro wins and continues to be dominant now that he’s a Paul Heyman guy. Next up for Van Dam and Swagger? They form a tag team called Weed the People.

And finally, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Daniel Bryan defends his title against his former Team Hell No partner Kane in an EXTREME RULES match. I say Bryan retains but Kane leaves him unable to walk to the back on his own.

And there you have it. My thoughts on CM Punk. My predictions for Extreme Rules. And wishing you a great Star Wars Day! May the 4th be you!
